AMERICANDIVIDENDFUND EST·MMXXVI American Dividend Fund Est. July 4, 2026 · A nonpartisan policy laboratory

Founded July 4, 2026 — America’s 250th birthday

Every citizen
a shareholder.

America’s common wealth — its spectrum, its minerals, its publicly funded genius — earns fortunes every year. None of it pays the 340 million people who own it. We exist to change that: a national endowment, a citizen’s dividend, and 250 proposals for the next 250 years, published one a day.

250 PROPOSALS · ONE A DAY № 005 RELEASED
Sec. 01The idea

The machine already exists.
Four governments run it.

Alaska has mailed every resident an owner’s check each October since 1982. Texas has compounded a school endowment since 1854 — it is older than the light bulb. Norway turned thirty years of oil receipts into roughly two trillion dollars of national savings. The permanent fund is the most successful boring idea in public finance, and it has never been tried at the scale of the nation that invented it.

$1,000–$3,300Alaska’s annual dividend to every resident in recent years, since 1982
~$2TNorway’s fund after 30 years — over $300,000 per citizen, in an economy one-tenth ours
Sec. 02The campaign

250 proposals for
America’s next 250 years.

The Federalist ran as a newspaper serial — eighty-five essays in seven months. In that spirit: beginning on the nation’s 250th birthday, we are publishing 250 serious policy proposals, one every day, each with its numbers shown and its objections answered honestly. Some are modest. Some are heresies. All are free to steal.

Sec. 03The five principles

One covenant,
five load-bearing walls.

01

The Dividend

The nation’s common assets should pay the nation’s people — every citizen, from birth, for life.

02

The Covenant

Protection is unconditional; prosperity is earned. Deep security for every citizen, paired with a culture that honors work and service.

03

The Perimeter

A nation is a family with a front door. Generous to guests, firm about the line between member and guest, humane always.

04

The Open Hand

Peace through uplift. America is safest when it builds partners, not dependents — starting with the youngest continent on earth.

05

The Long Game

Govern for 2276. Plant endowments, not fires. Every proposal must leave America owning more of its future.
